(Global Organic Latex Standard)
A must have certification. There is no better guarantee that you are choosing a product that has been certified by the most reputable certification around. Many if not all Health consultants say this is an absolute necessity when purchasing an organic latex mattress.
(Global Organic Textile)
Another must have. This certification insure that the fabrics such as the wool and the cotton are certified Organic.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.
(Oeko-Tex Standard 100)
Any Product on the market that passes Got or Gols certification will more then like pass the Oeko-Tex 100 Certification. This certifies that the components are baby safe and non toxic. Keep in mind this is in know way an organic certification like many portray it as. Some memory foam and petroleum filled beds have this certification.
Test is done by the ECO institute Gmbh (Germany) for the residue Harmful Chemical fillers, synthetic rubber and hazardous components and emissions in the product.If the product is tested and Assured in accordance with the Eco test criteria it confirm the Latex mattress or sheet is exclude of Harmful chemical and consist of Natural or Organic Latex.
